Microdermabrasion is a system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing using ultra fine crystals that rejuvenate the skin. The crystals work as a gentle abrasive on the skin to remove dead skin cells layer by layer. The irregular shape of the crystals helps to work on hard to reach areas, without causing any damage to the skin.
This treatment can be used on all skin types, and on all parts of the body or face. It is commonly used to treat:

The machine that delivers these crystals uses a vacuum action to take the dead skin cells away from the fact. This vacuum has a secondary benefit, however; it stimulates the circulation and promotes increased blood flow. This in turn stimulates the production of collagen and elastin – and that results in firmer, more youthful looking skin.
There is minimal discomfort experienced during a Microdermabrasion treatment and the client is able to carry on with their normal day afterwards.
Crystal Microdermabrasion uses a completely inert and sterile compound with zero risk of allergic reaction.
Improper use or unhygienic conditions pose a mild risk when receiving a Microdermabrasion treatment. Our therapists have received training in the use of the SkinBase MDPro machine and are certificated to confirm that they are competent to perform the treatment.
Sterile, disposable nozzles are used eliminating any risk of cross-contamination between clients.
You will see results immediately, although repeated treatments are highly recommended. With each subsequent treatment your skin will continue to look progressively better.
